Top 10 Super Bowl Team Nicknames

Just having a little fun.....These are my Top 10 Super Bowl Team Nicknames for all-time.....Check it out (in case you want to workout, download this FREE 10-Minute STRENGTH AND POWER WORKOUT):

10.  The Gold Rush -  Love 'em or hate 'em, San Francisco is an elite champion with 5 rings in just a 14 year span!  Do the math.

9.  The Pack Attack - The "Cheeseheads" love them some Green Bay Packers, who won the first two Super Bowls (4 total).

8.  Purple People Eaters - Minnesota has gone to 4 Super Bowls without a win.  What a great front four!

7.  Orange Crush - They played hard and brought a nasty attitude every play.  Fun to watch!

6.  The Greatest Show on Turf - Dynamite on turf.  You couldn't take your eyes off the tube!

5.  DoomsDay Defense - The only team who could tame Dallas' DoomsDay Defense was Pittsburgh.  The "Manster" (54) was a scary dude!

4.  Monsters of the Midway (Super Bowl Shuffle) - The were singing the Super Bowl Shuffle during the season!  Every team feared the 1985 Bear's defense.

3.  The Hogs (Heavy Jumbo) - My favorite team, Washington, made it popular to have 300+ pound fat O Linemen.  They won 3 Super Bowls.

2.  The Legion of Boom - This name is just cool and it totally explains Seattle's defensive backs.

1.  The Steel Curtain - An awesome, scary bunch led by "Mean Joe" Green.  Four Super Bowls in 6 years (6 total - SixBurgh)!

Honorable Mention:

The Dirty Birds (Atlanta)

Purple Rain (Baltimore)

The Bungles (Cincinnati)

No-Name Defense (Miami)

Kelly's Heroes (Buffalo)

The G-Men (Giants)

Gang Green (Jets)

The Silver and Black (Raiders)

The Lightning Bolts (San Diego)

The Who Dats (New Orleans)

Agree?  Disagree?  Sound off!  Enjoy the game!
