Improve Your Playing Speed With Smart Training

If you thought you needed to "run with high knees" to increase your speed, then you need to download "Sports Fitness Hut's Speed Training For Athletes" eBook!

If you didn't know that inadequate core strength is one of the major reasons you slow down when you're tired, then download this eBook! And, guess what? You don't have to be the fastest person in the 100 meter sprint to win the race. These are just a few pointers you can read about in my eBook!

Straight-ahead speed is important but there are other types of speed such as starting speed, acceleration speed, top-end speed, change-of-direction speed, stopping speed, closing speed and speed endurance. You should train for all types of speed particular to your sport. Quickness, which is reacting explosively without hesitation should also be trained for and will enhance your overall speed.

You can also download my companion eBooks on this same page to help your overall sports fitness training.

These eBooks are great tools for coaches, parents, athletes and exercisers!

Train hard and smart!

Young Athletes Need To Prepare For High School Athletics

More and more, I am seeing athletes in middle school who don’t even have a foundation built such as: core strength, joint stabilization, dynamic flexibility, good nutritional habits, aerobic fitness and anaerobic fitness.

Fat, out-of-shape athletes can't be elite athletes! And, with the spread of select sports teams, high school coaches expect you to be ready to play sooner rather than later! If you're not prepared, you'll be left behind!

In today’s competitive environment, a young player can’t wait until high school to get serious about sports training. The guide will also show young athletes how to eat right. Poor eating habits---not eating enough, eating too much or eating the wrong things---is a big problem that I see all the time with young players.

Exercise illustrations and exercise instructions are also in this guide to teach your young athlete how to exercise correctly. Poor technique causes many athletic injuries.

Sports Fitness Hut's Hips And Glutes Training Guide

Great athletes dominate athletic movements with the hips, glutes, quadriceps and hamstrings. All of these muscle regions need to work properly or you will not compete on a high level.

The gluteus maximus is the largest muscle in the body. The anatomy of the gluteal region (gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, gluteus minimus) is shown below:

The glutes don't fire properly when the hip flexors (psoas, iliacus, tensor fascia latae, etc.) are overactive or tight. This can happen due to poor flexibility or prolonged sitting. When the hip flexors don't work properly, its antagonist (mainly the gluteus maximus) becomes weak.

"Sports Fitness Hut's Hips and Glutes Training Guide for Athletes" will be released tomorrow and you can get your copy for only $11! It is a must training guide for any serious athlete! Be sure and get your copy!

Other things being equal, a muscular, powerful athlete will outperform a fat, slower or skinny, weaker athlete. Sports Fitness Hut's Fat Blaster Athletic Power Training System will give you your "lean and mean" athletic machine!
